A Christ-centered Ethiopian-American congregation in the Twin Cities, proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every generation.
Our Story
Peniel Evangelical Church of Minnesota began as a small group of believers committed to worshipping the Lord Jesus in spirit and in truth. Today we are a growing family of disciples — diverse in age and background, united in faith.
Our name, Peniel, comes from Genesis 32 — the place where Jacob met with God face to face. That encounter is our prayer for everyone who walks through our doors.

To glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ — loving Him fully, loving one another deeply, and reaching the lost faithfully.
